Mon Bazou Power Grid Guide: Wiring & Costs

Tired of working in the dark? Want to use the Welder to fix your rusty Konig chassis? Installing the Power Grid is the most important upgrade for your garage, but it's expensive. This guide covers the full installation process.

Budget Warning: Do not start this project until you have at least $4,000 cash. The connection fee alone is $2,500, and you still need to buy parts.

1. Shopping List (Hardware Store)

Go to the Hardware Store (Gilles) in town. You need to buy these specific items:

2. Installation Steps

01

Install External Gear

Take the Electrical Mast and attach it to the side of your garage (look for the transparent outline on the wall). Then, attach the Meter Base directly below it.

02

Install Internal Panel

Go inside the garage. Place the Breaker Panel on the wall. This is your main fuse box. Make sure you can easily access it.

03

Call Hydro (The Expensive Part)

Once the Mast and Meter are installed, go to your phone and dial 555-4743.

They will charge you $2,500. You should see a wire appear from the street pole to your house. You now have power to the building.

04

Wiring & Breakers

Equip your Wiring Tool. The logic is:

Meter Base (Outside) → Breaker Panel (Inside) → Individual Breaker → Outlet/Light

Note: You must open the panel door to install breakers. Don't forget to flip the breaker switch to ON!

3. Total Cost Breakdown

Item Estimated Cost
Hydro Connection Fee $2,500
Mast & Meter Base ~$450
Panel & Breakers ~$300
Wires & Outlets ~$250
TOTAL ESTIMATE ~$3,500 - $4,000
Welder Tip: The Welder requires a Heavy Duty Outlet (220V). Do not try to plug it into a standard wall outlet; it won't work.
