Konig Tuning Guide: Turbo, Gears & Suspension

The Konig is your pride and joy. But in its stock form, it's slow, heavy, and handles like a boat. To dominate the street races, you need to upgrade everything from the intake to the exhaust. This guide covers the essential upgrade path.

Stage 1: The Essentials

Before you spend $2,000 on a turbo, fix the basics.

Stage 2: Turbo & ECU (Forced Induction)

The biggest power jump. You can buy the full kit at Roger's Parts Store.

Required Parts

Turbo Manifold + Turbocharger + Intercooler + Piping + ECU.

*Warning: You MUST install the ECU to tune the fuel mix, otherwise the engine may blow.

Tuning Air/Fuel Ratio (AFR)

Use a screwdriver on the Carburetor/ECU screw while the engine is running.

AFR Value Result
11.0 - 12.0 Rich (Safe, but wasting fuel)
12.5 - 13.5 Optimal Power (Target)
15.0+ Lean (Overheating Risk)

Stage 3: Gear Ratios

Adjust your Final Drive to match your driving style.

Recommended Setups
  • 🚀 Drag / Acceleration: Ratio 4.20 - 4.50
  • ⚖️ All-Rounder (Street): Ratio 3.90 - 4.10
  • 🛣️ Highway Speed: Ratio 3.00 - 3.50
